MC, some songs sound good because of the arrangement and the backing. But classic songs, well, their perfection is how they are crafted. The lyrics, the chords and melody all working together. It's a form of magic. A classic song can be re-interpreted by many artists and still sound great. This is a feature of many of Bob Dylan's songs.
