The Cleaning Woman

Today, I met a cleaning woman that speaks 5 languages! Enlgish, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. What a world we live in.

wow, 4th time i hear something like that. and i can't even say one good complete french sentence though i've been learning it sense forever.

Is she fluent or does she know a couple of swear words? I had a friend who claimed he spoke 7 languages we tele3 ay kalam!

As in wow..im impressed..its like the guys in khan el khalili, theyr incredibly fast learners..some of them even illiterate or use the grammar all wrong but still..it surprises u how they manage to convey their msg;) egyptian fahlawa.
must admit though,she must be gifted.Once shes past english french and spanish or portuguese the rest comes naturally since the latin and hermanica origin languages are always similar in terms of vocabulary and grammar.french and spanish helped me alot in italian but german was a killer besara7a!welad..

That is pretty impressive. Some people just have a talent for learning languages. My cleaning lady only speaks Spanish. I know enought Spanish to converse with her, but I'm far from fluent. She thiks I'm fluent though, so many times when she talks I just stand there and look dumb.
